Put a thin layer of lube on o-rings of 3 housings and both o-rings on 2 membranes.
Install carbon pre-filter. The pre-filter can only be installed in the manifold in the position shown. The other two openings are for the membranes.
Use the support leg as a filter housing wrench to tighten down the housing until it bottoms out. The flange on the bottom of the housing should come in contact with the flange on the manifold. Do not tighten past this point.
Install RO membranes. Carefully push the first membrane into the position shown. Push it straight down into the home of the manifold until both o-rings are seated in the hole. Do not rock membrane back and forth to install. Install housing over membrane.
Lube the o-rings on each of the 3 elbow connector fittings and push them into the corresponding parts on the manifold. The back of each elbow connector fitting has a symbol that corresponds to the symbol next to the manifold parts.
Install elbow connector lock bar by pushing it into each of the two slots. Make sure the end with the arrow symbol goes in the upper slot. Pull on the lock bar to make sure you have it properly installed.
Install the pressure gauge assembly. Push short length of tubing into the left side of the gauge. Push the other end of the tubing in to the elbow connector fitting.
Install the support leg as shown.
Install 1/2″ white inlet tubing. Push tubing into pressure gauge fitting. Push garden hose inlet fitting into other end of tubing. The fitting is compatible with garden hoses and hose bibs. Other connection fittings are available.
Install blue 3/8″ purified water tubing and 3/8″ black waste water tubing into corresponding elbow connector fittings as shown. The 3/8″ inline shut-off valve should only be installed on the blue water line to shut off/on.
NEVER install the shut-off valve on the black waste water line! This has to be able to drain waste water freely and without restrictions.
The black drain line must be unrestricted. Under normal parameters, the system is designed to drain at a ratio of 2 parts drain to 1 part product water. The optional drain saddle is a clean way to run your drain line. You can also be creative in using the drain water, i.e. landscape drip systems, refilling household storage tanks, etc.
Flush the system for 1 hour before using product water. Always take your product water PPM readings after 5 minutes of running the system once it has sat idle for several hours.
